London’s wintry magic

During my recent stay in London, my sweetheart showed me something magical, something that few tourists are aware of: the City in between Christmas and New Year. This area, bustling with business people and visitors for almost 360 days a year, for one week literally empties – no queues outside St. Paul’s, no crowds around Tower Bridge!

It was a rainy day we went, so there were even fewer people around; enjoy the photos from our little trip. This city simply is beyond compare!

I’m an author of romantic fiction, born in Germany and living in Holyhead in lovely Wales. I've worked as a journalist, as social hostess on a cruise ship, as an insurance agent, as a translator and teacher, and now as a book indexer. I love books, movies, computer games, history - and most of all spending time with my wonderful husband Ian!
